Hello, I’m Suman a qualified, experienced therapeutic counsellor registered with the BACP- British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I offer therapy to adults, young people and teens aged over 13.  Sessions can be online (across UK) or face-to-face from a dedicated therapy room in Odiham and Fleet with free parking available. My personal values of respect, integrity and trustworthiness are reflected in my humanistic philosophy.

I trained as an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor which means I draw from a range of modalities like person-centred, attachment theory, CBT and inner child work alongside creative interventions to work in the best way possible for you as an individual.  I strive to create a environment that is empowering and supportive, aiding you develop a deeper understanding of thoughts, feelings that make your experiences and your relationships unique.

Anxiety, depression, PTSD, health-related issues, relationship difficulties, stress, childhood trauma, bereavement, low self-esteem, sexual abuse, self-harm behaviours, grief, suicidal ideation, ADHD, intrusive thoughts, infant/baby loss are some of the areas I have worked in. My approach to counselling is one of compassion, empathy and acceptance.

I provide a judgment free space which allows you to be heard.  Sessions with me will provide you clarity about your feelings offering you the power to take ownership of your thoughts, that are in tune with your values. My warm, calm nature supports you to navigate through your thoughts in a gentle yet challenging way.

As a person of Indian/South Asian origin, I can offer culturally sensitive therapy, ensuring a holistic approach to addressing cultural issues.  Besides my private practice, I work as a Service Manager at a Counselling Agency in Hampshire. Additionally, I volunteered with the UK’s leading bereavement charity and with Hart Voluntary Action as a counsellor.
