Counselling

Counselling for adults and young people aged 13+ in Odhiam and Fleet, Hampshire.

Counselling that meets you where you are

If you’ve been feeling lost, overwhelmed, or struggling with something that feels hard to manage on your own, you’re not alone – and counselling may help.

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You might be dealing with a specific difficulty, noticing patterns that are painful or make you feel stuck, or simply feeling that something isn’t quite right.

Whatever brings you here, counselling offers a calm, confidential space to explore what’s going on and begin to make sense of it at your own pace.

What counselling can offer

Counselling provides a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel listened to with care and respect. There’s no pressure to know what to say or where to begin – sessions move at a pace that feels right for you.

You may choose to explore current challenges, past experiences, relationships, or simply how things feel in the present moment. Over time, counselling can help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your thoughts, and your feelings, and support you in finding ways forward that feel manageable and meaningful.

My approach

The way we work together is guided by what feels right for you.

I use an integrative approach, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches used in a trauma-informed way. Rather than following a fixed structure, counselling remains flexible and responsive.

You’ll be supported in a calm, confidential space where you can gently explore your thoughts and feelings, build understanding, and develop greater clarity about yourself and your experiences.

As someone of Indian / South Asian heritage, culturally sensitive therapy is also available for those who value support that recognises cultural background, identity, and family context.

Areas I can support you with

People seek counselling for many different reasons. Support is available for a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:

Emotional wellbeing
Depression, stress or anxiety, panic attacks

Trauma & loss
Sexual trauma, trauma and post-traumatic stress, childhood trauma, grief, loss or bereavement, including infant or baby loss

Self & relationships
Low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, intrusive thoughts

Coping & safety
Self-harm behaviours

You don’t need to fit neatly into a category – counselling can be a space to explore whatever feels most important to you.

Who counselling is for

I offer counselling for adults and young people aged 13 and over.

Sessions can take place face-to-face in Fleet and Odiham, or online across the UK, depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you.

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process, and it’s okay to take time to work out whether counselling – and working together – feels like the right fit.

What sessions are like

Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually offered on a weekly basis, although frequency can be discussed depending on your needs.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about – together we’ll explore whatever feels most important at the time.

Practical details around fees, cancellations, and availability can be found on the Sessions & Pricing page.

A free introductory call

A free 15-minute introductory call is available before booking a first session.

This offers an opportunity to ask any questions, share a little about what’s bringing you to counselling, and get a sense of whether working together feels right. There’s no obligation to continue – the aim is simply to help you decide what feels best for you.
